These are numbers.
These are numbers that are not Algebraic
Game: reduce a number to 0. You can add, subtract and raise to any whole number power.
Sol: Multiplying by 0.. sounds trivial. These are algebraic numbers.
A special number: e. Can't be done.
Charles hermite: "If you can put x into some polynomial equation thart equals 0, then there's a whole number between 0 and 1."
e is transcendental number.
Carl Louis Ferdinand von Lindemann: "e ^ (any algebraic number = transcendental."
e ^ (i * pi) = -1. So pi cannot be algebraic.
